A series of demonstrations and tests of the BOOSTER storage silo is currently underway during the harvest.

BOOSTER works in tandem with combine harvesters, receiving the harvested grain and unloading it into transport vehicles while the combines continue working in the field. During testing, the hopper is loaded and unloaded repeatedly, operates under sustained load, and is subjected to various field conditions.
At one farm, the hopper operated for 12 hours during a single shift and completed 16 loading and unloading cycles.
During operation, attention was paid to the movement of the loaded hopper across the field. BOOSTER navigated uneven terrain smoothly and precisely. On one trip, a tractor pulling a storage hopper loaded with more than 10 metric tons of grain traveled about 15 km back to the base after dark. The route passed through fields and forests, and the machine moved steadily even on challenging sections with the axles spread apart.
Customers were also interested in the unloading process. When working with moist grain, other hoppers often face the problem of grain remaining on the walls after unloading. To prevent this, K-FACTOR engineers developed a special modification to the BOOSTER’s interior surface. Its effectiveness was put to the test during the demonstrations—the grain slides off the walls quickly, without sticking or leaving any crop residue in the hopper.
During the demonstrations of the BOOSTER storage bin, we received practical feedback from operators. People who work directly with the bin in the field are primarily interested in how easy it is to operate under various conditions.
That’s why the K-FACTOR team has put together a package of improvements that make operating the BOOSTER even more convenient: interior lighting in the hopper, a lock for the auger head position, and larger latches for the emergency hatch.
The experience we’ve gained always serves as the foundation for further development.
